Insights on Carve-Out/Carve-In Challenges by Daniel Conte Macedo

At NAOS International, we’re kicking off 2025 with a bang through a new Matinale session at our Odéon offices.
This Thursday, January 16, we had the honor of welcoming Daniel Conte Macedo to discuss about the challenges of carve-out/carve-in processes and their impacts on information systems.

With over 25 years of successful experience in information systems management, Daniel Conte Macedo is a recognized expert in the field of information technology and digital transformation. Formerly the Group Applications Director at Linxens for more than 12 years, he played a key role in the company’s significant growth and international expansion. During his tenure, he led an international team of 30 professionals spread across France, India, Thailand, and China, and oversaw strategic projects such as the global ERP migration to QAD, the implementation of S&OP and PLM solutions, and the seamless integration of six entities.

Delivered in an engaging and illustrative manner, his presentation proved highly enriching for our participants. This topic, central to the integration/acquisition of entities, sparked numerous questions and debates about how to effectively structure a carve-out/carve-in project.

The various risks encountered upstream, best practices during a carve-out, and a practical case study were among the key elements discussed today.

We would like to thank Cédric Kalbfuss, David Bomsel, and Jean-Christophe Roehrig for their commitment today.
A big thank you as well to Daniel Conte Macedo for his invaluable advice and expertise on the subject of the day.

Next Morning Session? Early February! Stay tuned for more details 🙂
